How many weddings have you photographed?
I've photographed over 150 weddings!
How do you describe your style?
My style of wedding photography can best be described as creative photojournalism.
In short, approximately 90% of the wedding day (getting ready, ceremony, some portraits, candid moments, reception) is captured in a purely photojournalistic way. This approach allows me to focus on capturing authentic, candid moments between you and your friends and family.
My team and I will help direct and pose your family pictures and some of your wedding party and couple's portraits to ensure that everyone looks their very best.
Will we receive the high resolution digital f iles?
Absolutely! You receive the full size highest resolution digital files from your wedding day. I don't limit the file size of your photos or restrict you from printing them.
How many pictures will we receive?
The number of pictures you receive from your wedding day depends on a whole variety of things: the length of your coverage, the size of your wedding party, the number of guests at your wedding, the amount of time we have photos, etc. You will receive at least 500 unique photos. Most couples end up receiving around 700 photos in all (color and black and white).
When you say all day coverage, what do you really mean?
I really mean all day coverage! My team and I usually arrive two hours before you get dressed (so we can capture the details and candid moments) and we stay until the end of the reception. We never want you to worry about planning your wedding day around how many hours of coverage you paid for. No one wants to have an awkward conversation during your reception about paying for additional coverage time. Talk about a buzzkill!
Do you have a second photographer?
Yup! Bryan is usually my second photographer. When he's not available, I reach out to my other insanely talented wedding photography friends. No matter who the second photographer is on your wedding day, you can rest assured that you've got the best of the best!
Do you have an assistant?
I have a few actually! I have a small group of trusted assistants that help me on weddings and engagements. They don't take any photos but they do make sure that everything runs as smoothly as possible. They'll be assisting me with lighting, arranging large groups, and lugging around a lot of very expensive equipment. They'll assist you with your dress, flowers, veil, and so much more (like bringing you your favorite cocktail or beer while we're doing photos). You'll quickly see why they're such an important part of the team!
How much do you require at booking? When is the remaining balance due?
The $1,000 retainer is due when signing your contract to officially reserve your date. An additional $1,000 payment is due halfway between your booking and wedding date. The remaining balance is due one month before your wedding date.
Do you have insurance?
Absolutely! I can gladly provide a certificate of insurance to your venue. Please have your venue reach out to me as soon as possible so we can make the proper arrangements well ahead of your wedding date.
Do you have a backup system?
Backing up your files is something that I take very seriously because there are no do-overs for your wedding day!
Your wedding is backed up as follows:
-On two memory cards in each camera (in case one card would fail)
-On my laptop
-On an external hard drive
-On a 48 TB RAID 5 system (6x 8 TB hard drives that are synced together to ensure that no data is ever lost)
-In the cloud (online)
